The Best Reusable Cotton Face Scrubbies | Crochet Pattern

Cotton face scrubbies are something that I use daily to remove my makeup and cleanse my face. Instead of spending money on packs of them to just throw away, I decided to make myself a set of face cleansing pads that I can easily toss in the laundry and reuse over and over again.

Since these pads are made out of cotton yarn, they are soft, and will dry in about the same time it takes a washcloth to dry. They also lather pretty good, so I don’t feel like I have to use as much cleanser as I do with other absorbent face scrubbies. These can be made in many colors. I like to keep a set of white ones for days when I wear no makeup and am simply washing my face, and a set made with gray yarn for days I’m washing away foundation or eye makeup.

Here’s another handy tip–if you are traveling somewhere, lather your cotton face scrubbies up with your favorite cleanser and lay them out to dry (without washing them out). Once dry, pack them in a small, sealed bag in your makeup bag. When you get to your destination, pull one out, wet, lather back up, and wash off your face! Save space in your bag from not having to pack your entire bottle of face wash. Genius, right?
